Embark on an exciting journey that combines hiking, tandem paragliding, and wine tasting in the stunning Vipava Valley. This unique experience allows you to enjoy three beloved activities in a single outing. Trek along the scenic Trnovo Plateau, take flight in tandem from a mountain overlooking the Vipava Valley and conclude your day with a visit to a wine cellar.
What to bring?
Hiking boots or trainers, additional dry clothes (t-shirt), warm clothes for a flight (windstopper, jacket, etc...), a bottle of water.

Trip Itinerary

Meet your flight instructor
We meet in Ajdovščina in front of the Wajdušna office. The address is Župančičeva ulica 1c 5270 Ajdovščina. *possible pick up and drop-off at your location in Vipava Valley or other location around
Transfer
It will take approximately 30 minutes of driving on one of the most beautiful roads in Slovenia to come to the starting point of the hike.
Guided hike
This walking trail is approximately 7 km long. It will take from 2h30min to 3h to complete the walk. We will make a few stops along the way to enjoy views and visit natural attractions.
Tandem paragliding flight
At the end of the hike, you will meet our paragliding instructors with whom you will fly over the Vipava Valley. They will try their best to stay in the air as long as possible. Usually, up to 30 minutes. It can also happen that your flight will be longer, but it all depends on the weather conditions.
Wine tasting
You will visit a local winery and meet a winemaker in person, taste local wines, and local tapas (prosciutto, cheese, etc..)
Shuttle Dropoff
After the flight, we will bring you back to the meeting place.
